The Godox AD100 Pro II is a compact, 100Ws battery-powered flash designed for photographers who want serious lighting power in a truly portable size. Building on the success of the original AD100 Pro, the Mk II brings improved cooling, a brighter full-colour screen, longer battery life, refined optics, group colour indicators, an upgraded LED modelling light and faster, simpler wireless pairing. About the size of a drinks can but far more capable, it delivers reliable TTL and High-Speed Sync performance with the flexibility to work comfortably on location, at events, or in small studio setups.

Improved Performance and Cooling

The AD100 Pro II keeps the same 100Ws output as the original but introduces a more efficient cooling system. This allows up to 100 full-power flashes in a row without overheating, giving much more confidence during fast-paced shoots such as weddings, events or location portraits.

Refined Optics with Built-in Zoom

The updated optical design produces a smoother, more natural light spread with gentle fall-off. The built-in 28–85mm zoom lets you tighten or widen the beam to better match your modifier or subject, offering more control than the previous version.

Brighter Screen and Colour Group Indicators

A new high-contrast colour screen makes settings easier to see in bright conditions. The AD100 Pro II also introduces colour-coded group indicators for all 16 wireless groups, shown on both the flash and compatible triggers. This makes managing multi-light setups much faster and more intuitive.

Advanced Wireless and Trigger Compatibility

The built-in 2.4GHz Godox X system supports TTL, Manual and Multi modes with Canon, Nikon, Sony, Fujifilm, OM System, Panasonic, Pentax and Leica. One-tap pairing with the X3 and X3 Pro triggers speeds up setup. For challenging environments, the optional FR433 receiver and FT433 trigger add a 433MHz link for greater range and stability.

The new 3300mAh lithium battery increases full-power flashes from around 360 on the original model to up to 490 on the Mk II. USB-C charging means you can top up from mains power, laptops or power banks, making it ideal for travel and long shooting days.

Compact Body with Expanded Control

Measuring approximately 12.2 × 7.4 × 7.4 cm and weighing around 0.54 kg, the AD100 Pro II remains truly portable. It offers front and rear curtain sync, stroboscopic mode, S1 and S2 optical slave modes, a 3.5mm sync port, firmware updates via USB-C, and dual 1/4"-20 mounting points. The magnetic round-head mount supports a wide range of Godox modifiers, and Bowens accessories can be used with the optional S3 bracket.
